The Discovery Channel's Planet Green recently put together a short video piece on our upcoming 5MW project for the city of San Francisco. It's a very nice piece that connects the city's reputation for progressive leadership and healthy lifestyle to the aspirational aspects of this project. Breaking ground soon...

At first I couldn't understand how a city so cramped for space would be able to set up a huge undertaking such as this solar panel project, but when you see how muh is sitting right outside the city limits, the only thing you'd have to worry about is making sure you're not taking away land from our animal friends.

I want to do a science project where I create my own solar panels out of different materials to see which one will produce the greatest amount of energy. Is this a realistic topic if it has to be done before Thanksgiving? If so, how do I make the solar panels? How do I measure/convert the energy?

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are the same chemical reactions directed in opposite directions. Photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide and water and produces carbohydrates and oxygen. Cellular respiration of carbohydrates and oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water. Breathing is the exothermic reaction. Photosynthesis requires the input of the suns energy to proceed. In the economy of ecology, why the two reactions is necessary? How much solar energy in the biosphere cycling start? How can be best preserved today?

Solarflux steps forward with this idea and produces solar energy products that can reduce carbon footprint from our planet.
